Before you register

Registration for courses runs through our contact desk, where we confirm your level, dates and fees in writing. These terms cover the website itself and outline what happens after you write to us.

Using the website

By browsing thedress.digital you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site and write to us instead at our contact page.

The website is a public information service. It describes our English language courses, our study pathways in London, and how to get in touch with the academy. It does not sell anything directly and it does not enroll anyone automatically: every enrolment is confirmed by a member of our team.

You may read, print and share our pages for your own non-commercial use, for example to compare course formats with a friend, employer or sponsor. You may not copy the site into another service, scrape it at scale, resell its content, or present it as your own.

Please use the site lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with other visitors. That means no attempts to break, overload or probe the servers, no automated bulk requests, no injection of malicious code, and no use of our forms to send spam, misleading enquiries or material that is not your own.

We try to keep the site available and accurate, but we cannot promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance, security updates, or problems at our hosting provider can take pages offline for short periods. Where a page is unavailable, our contact details remain live and you are welcome to phone or email us.

Course information

Descriptions of our courses, levels and study options are written to help you choose, not to replace advice. Course pages summarize what a class covers, who it suits, and roughly how much time it takes. Timetables, teaching hours, class sizes and starting dates are confirmed to you in a written offer before you commit.

Language level is assessed with our team, usually through a short telephone or online conversation and an informal written task. The level we place you in is a professional judgement about where you will learn best, not a certificate or a grade. You are welcome to discuss it if you think a different class would suit you better.

What we confirm in writing

  • Course name, level and weekly teaching hours
  • Start and finish dates, and the class timetable you are placed in
  • Tuition fees, any registration fee, and the deadline for payment
  • What is included in the fee and what you arrange yourself, such as accommodation and travel

What we do not promise

We do not guarantee a particular exam grade, a job offer, a visa decision or admission to another institution. Learning outcomes depend on your attendance, your starting level and the work you put in outside class.

If we change a class

Class times, teachers, or the room a course runs in may change for operational reasons. If we have to move or cancel a course you have paid for, we will tell you as early as we can and offer an alternative group or a refund of the tuition affected.

Enquiries and registration

When you write to us from a form on this site, you send your name, email address and telephone number so that we can reply. On our contact page we also ask for your first name and last name so we can address you properly. We use those details only to answer your question, recommend a course, and confirm an enrolment.

Registration becomes a binding place only when we have sent you an offer in writing, you have accepted it, and the fee or deposit we asked for has been received. Until all three have happened, a place in a class is not held for you and can be taken by another learner.

Photographs and messages you send us should be your own, or ones you are allowed to share. Please do not send documents that are not needed for your enquiry, such as full passport scans, until we ask for them. Our privacy policy explains how long we keep enquiry information and how to ask for a copy or deletion.

Fees and payment

Published prices describe tuition for the term stated on the relevant course page. They are shown in pounds sterling and cover teaching and the materials listed for that course. They do not cover accommodation, travel, visa costs, examination entry fees charged by a third party, or personal spending.

Payment terms are given in your written offer, including any deposit that reserves a place. If a payment deadline passes without payment or a written arrangement with us, we may release the place to another learner. Refunds and transfers follow the terms in your offer letter and are handled case by case; if you need to change or cancel, tell us in writing as early as you can.

We do not store card numbers on this website. Payments are taken through the method arranged with our team, and receipts are sent by email. If you believe a payment was taken in error, contact us with the date and amount and we will look into it.

Intellectual property

The text, layout, images and teaching materials on this website belong to The Dress English Academy or are used with permission. You may not republish them, use them in paid training of your own, or include them in a competing service without our written consent.

Class handouts and course materials we give you during a course are for your personal study. Sharing them with other learners in the same group is fine. Selling them, uploading them to public file-sharing sites, or distributing them outside the academy is not.

If you believe something on our site infringes a right you hold, contact us with enough detail for us to check it and we will respond promptly.

Limits of our liability

We take care to describe our courses accurately and to keep the website running, but the site is provided as it is. We are not responsible for losses caused by decisions you take based on general information on the website, and we cannot promise that our pages are free of minor errors at every moment.

We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, or loss of opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Links from our site to other organizations are offered as a convenience. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms when our services, our systems, or the law change. The date at the top of the page shows the version in force. Continuing to use the website after an update means you accept the revised terms; where a change affects an enrolment you already hold, we will write to you directly.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If a dispute arises, both sides agree to try to resolve it in correspondence first. If that does not settle it, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

Questions about any part of this page, or about how it applies to your enrolment, can be sent to our contact team on +44 20 7973 6574, or by email to info@thedress.digital. Our desk is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

What happens next

If you have read enough and would like to talk through courses, dates or fees, the contact desk is the right place to start. Send an enquiry with your name, email and telephone number and a member of the team will reply. If you are comparing study options first, the course pages describe each pathway in detail.
